About Yummy Buffet Grill and Sushi
Yummy Buffet Grill and Sushi is a restaurant in Citrus Heights, California. It is listed at 7217 Greenback Ln, Citrus Heights, CA 95621, which places it among the local businesses of Citrus Heights that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

We really enjoyed it here! The service was great, it was our first time, and everything was explained to us very nicely. They cleared the table quickly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and everything felt clean. The food was amazing! We didn’t even try half of it, but everything we had was really good. The only thing we didn’t quite like were some of the fruit mousses, the taste was a bit unusual. But that’s probably just personal preference. The fruits, though, were all delicious. Overall, it’s a great place, we’ll definitely be coming back.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing! Friendly service, fresh food, and enough room from others while dining. Definitely recommend for family outings!

The food was hit or miss, the seafood isn't funny tasting but somehow the sushi is really gross. Some items were very obviously frozen or refrigerated and you can taste it. Strangely enough the small selection of dim sum tasted fresh. The shrimp alfredo was gross, terrible refrigerated flavor. The desserts were pretty good. Service is prompt but they do that weird thing where they watch you like a hawk, this makes service prompt but it feels like policing you once you finish a plate or two. I went at a time that wasn't very busy, I kept to myself and brought the check before I finished eating. I really hate when that happens. It doesn't feel relaxing or inviting when waitstaff do that. I arrived during lunch and was seated promptly. I don't think this place is very good, and will probably drive the extra 30 minutes to a different buffet next time. I will say, the coconut shrimp was pretty good.

I recently visited Yummy Buffet & Grill and was impressed with the overall experience. The variety of food is excellent, from sushi and seafood to Mongolian BBQ, classic Chinese dishes, salads, and desserts. Everything I tried was fresh, well-stocked, and hot. The staff were friendly and attentive, checking in often and clearing plates quickly. The dining area and buffet stations were kept clean, which made the experience even better. For the price, I think it’s a great value considering how many options are available. If you like frog legs, Yummy Buffet & Grill has it. Overall, if you’re looking for a wide selection of tasty food at a reasonable price, Yummy Buffet & Grill is definitely worth a visit!

Big room, enough light with too much space and not crowded. Friendly hosting. No lines inside or outside to wait for your turn. Tables are wide enough, so that a family of 4-6 feel good to place their plates, drinks and sauces on the table. The are no loud talking — you can hear your surroundings and do not yell. Family of 4 paid approximately $100. Staff are hungry to tips. They offer: additionally add 10, 15 or 20% to the order, or you can leave cash tips. Parking lot around the premises is always available. Food with no "take out" options.
